President Hu Jintao visited Sweden – was invited
When president Hu Jintao was visiting Sweden and its capital Stockholm, the Sweden-China Trade Council arranged June 10 2007 a Welcome Dinner with President Hu Jintao as guest of honour.

President Hu Jintao delivered an important speech at the welcome dinner and emphasized the role played by Sweden in international affairs and expected even stronger cooperation between China and Sweden in the future to maintain world peace and boost common development.

Many leading representatives of the Swedish business community, government and companies with strong connections to China were invited to the dinner. We are very proud to announce that Leif Almo, our CEO of and Scandnet also was invited.

In the morning the same day President Hu Jintao and the Swedish King Carl XVI Gustaf attended a ceremony in Gothenburg (Goteborg) to watch the return of a replica of the large wooden sailing ship Gotheborg that arrived from China.
